When using CO2 gas for modified atmosphere, it is usually supplied in high pressure cylinders in liquid state. When the CO2 expands to gaseous state, ice formation will occur if no measures are taken. For vQm applications, the gas flow is typically tuned up to max. 6 bar, in which case the regulator will freeze and may cause dangerous situations. To prevent this, a high-capacity gas pre-heater is essential, in combination with a high flow regulator. Often, such heaters & regulators are not commonly available. This ready-to-connect* set allows you to get started safely & quickly with your vQm system.

The 500W gas pre-heater (230V/50Hz) is suitable for food applications. The high flow (chrome plated brass) regulator (SC290F from Rotarex) is a single stage cartridge regulator, with a maximum inlet pressure of 200bar (2900 psi) and outlet pressure of 16 bar (232 psi). The set includes all connectors & adapators you need *.
