CO₂ used for Modified Atmosphere Packaging is commonly supplied in high-pressure cylinders in liquid form. When the liquid CO₂ expands into gas, rapid cooling can cause ice formation and regulator freezing, especially at the extremely high flow rates required for semi-bulk packaging.

The vQm Gas Regulator & Pre-Heater Set is designed to prevent these issues and provide a stable, high-volume CO₂ supply to the vQm conditioning system.

The set combines a 500 W gas pre-heater (230V / 50Hz) with a high-flow chrome-plated brass regulator. The regulator is a single-stage cartridge type with a maximum inlet pressure of 200 bar (2,900 psi) and an outlet pressure of up to 16 bar (232 psi). The maximum outlet pressure for safe use of the vQm system is 8 bar.

All required connectors and adaptors are included, making the system ready to connect and quick to install. The correct cylinder connection depends on the thread type used by your CO₂ supplier. vQm can supply the appropriate connection for your local gas cylinder standard.
