Maintaining a modified atmosphere over an extended period requires a strong and reliable seal. Sealing FIBC liners and other semi-bulk packaging can be challenging because the sealing area may contain multiple film layers, gussets, folds or wrinkles.

The vQm Controlled Impulse Sealer is a portable sealing system developed for these more demanding applications. The sealer controls both the sealing temperature and the cooling phase. The liner remains under pressure while the seal cools, helping create a secure and consistent final seal.

A 2.6-metre cable between the control unit and sealing bar provides flexibility when sealing. The vQm Controlled Impulse Sealer is particularly suited for creating the final seal required to maintain the modified atmosphere inside compatible high-barrier liners.
